This maximizes stability and traction on slopes, enhances operator comfort, and improves cut quality.
The dual commercial-grade Hydro-Gear® ZT-2800® transaxles provide a top ground speed of 8.5 MPH. The quick-fill system makes hydraulic maintenance much easier, and the dual hydraulic reservoirs reduce the risk of cross-contaminating the oil in the transaxles.
The 500S is available with a 24 HP Kawasaki® engine and a 25 HP Briggs & Stratton® CXi Series Engine.
The durable, heavy-duty floating deck, fabricated from 10-gauge steel, provides reliable cutting performance in various conditions and is available in 48, 52, and 60 inches, offering increased productivity without sacrificing comfort or the trusted Ferris cut quality.
