Ferris’s patented ForeFront™ Suspension Technology utilizes an automotive-style suspension system featuring an independent front axle and innovative control arms. This design ensures that the front wheels closely follow the contour of the terrain and remain in contact with the ground, regardless of the landscape. This maximizes stability and traction on slopes, enhances operator comfort, and improves cut quality.

The heavy-duty dual commercial-grade Hydro-Gear® ZT-3400™ transaxles provide a top ground speed of 10 MPH. The quick-fill system makes hydraulic maintenance much easier, and the dual hydraulic reservoirs reduce the risk of cross-contaminating the oil in the transaxles.

Select models feature a 27 HP Briggs & Stratton® CXi Series engine with OIL XTEND™ Technology and Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) Technology or a 26 HP Kawasaki® with Electronic Fuel Injection Technology. EFI Technology delivers more consistent performance and reduces fuel consumption. The Engine Control Module (ECM) constantly monitors and fine-tunes every engine operating point thousands of times per minute. It processes signals from all engine sensors to make precise decisions on fuel and spark delivery, resulting in efficient, on-demand power for maximum performance at higher speeds and reduced fuel consumption.

The ISX800 is also available with a 24 HP Kawasaki® engine and a 27 HP Briggs & Stratton® CXi Series Engine without EFI Technology.

The ISX800 has floating deck sizes of 52 and 60 inches, allowing for increased productivity without compromising comfort or the trusted Ferris cut quality. The multiple choices in engines and deck sizes give commercial landscapers and homeowners alike the flexibility to choose the mower that best suits their specific requirements.
